A community-driven platform for discovering, sharing, and supporting products, startups, apps and digital projects built across Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia.

## Site Overview
- Makers submit their own product launches; anyone can browse, upvote, and discuss them.
- Launches compete for the daily top spots; the top 3 products of each day win a Daily Winners badge.
- Products launch daily with continuous voting and comments.
- The platform focuses on the Baltic tech ecosystem: Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia.
- Homepage rank is based on upvote count and community engagement.

## Product Discovery and Research
- **Products**:
  - Path format: `/products/{slug}` (e.g., `https://balticlaunch.com/products/bradios`)
  - Product pages include name, tagline, description, launch date, maker, website link, pricing model, supported platforms, tech stack, categories, countries, cities, upvote count, and comments
  - Products can be featured on the homepage by the moderation team
- **Categories**:
  - Path format: `/categories` — all categories at `https://balticlaunch.com/categories`
  - Products are grouped by up to 3 categories each
- **Countries and Cities**:
  - Path format: `/countries` (all) and `/countries/{slug}` (e.g., `https://balticlaunch.com/countries/lithuania`)
  - Path format: `/cities` (all) and `/cities/{slug}` (e.g., `https://balticlaunch.com/cities/vilnius`)
  - Every product is associated with at least one Baltic country and optionally with cities
- **Launch boards**:

  - Yesterday's launches: `https://balticlaunch.com/trending?filter=yesterday`
  - Best of the month: `https://balticlaunch.com/trending?filter=month`

## Community & Roles
- Makers: product creators who submit and manage their launches
- Users: anyone can sign up to upvote, comment, and bookmark products
- Moderation: admin team approves, features, and curates content

## Launch System
- Launch types: Free (limited daily slots), Premium (more visibility), Premium Plus (top visibility + homepage feature)
- Daily limits are configurable; products schedule their launch date in advance
- Launch statuses: scheduled → ongoing (launch day) → launched (day after)

- Submitting a product with a free launch: 0€
- Premium and Premium Plus launches have one-time prices (see https://balticlaunch.com/pricing)
